Written as an intimate conversation with my late father, I retrace a life marked by love, compassion, loss, and determination. My story unfolds across pivotal moments of my life, from confronting gender bias and racism in male-dominated scientific spaces, becoming an entrepreneur when doors repeatedly closed, to balancing career with motherhood, this story reveals the unseen realities behind perseverance. It is a journey through grief and gratitude, fear and courage, barriers and breakthroughs.

It is a story about what happens when you refuse to be marginalized, when you step into the “lion’s mouth” not knowing the outcome, but trusting yourself.
